Two Ways We Strengthen, Protect, And Beautify
Home Exteriors In Colorado Springs
Let’s briefly look at stucco and stone veneer siding basics for homes in the Colorado Front Range. The important points here are that a) we work with acrylic stucco systems and b) partner with a specific manufacturer of stone veneers.

Residential Acrylic Stucco Installation & Repair
Stucco has established itself as a strong, quality siding. That said, we only install modern acrylic stucco systems for increased waterproofing. While it costs more, you get more value for your money—less fading, peeling, cracking, and better overall weatherability.
- A low-maintenance, easy-to-maintain, beautiful siding material.
- Like siding repair, we only repair entire stucco walls/sides (no patchwork).
- Easy to customize and match the existing colors and textures of your home.
Our consultant will be glad to explain the benefits and features. Stucco is very popular in the Colorado Springs area!

Residential Stone Veneers
We partner with Sunset Stone for manufactured residential stone veneer siding that withstands the Pikes Peak region. They make their stone by hand using a hand-veining technique that looks timeless.
- Cobble, Ledge, Field, Lime, Stacked, River, Natural…and more options.
- Depending on your style/texture, the concrete stone will be 1 ½” to 2″ thick.
- They offer a line of accessories like trim stones and wainscot caps.
Whether you want to add classic symmetry to your home or a rustic, earthy character, we look forward to exploring stone specs with you.

Delve Into What Colorado Springs Homeowners
Say About Our Exterior Remodeling Services
We’ve been in business for over three decades. These days, a good percentage of our projects are from return customers and local referrals. However, we’ve also managed to rack up lots of stellar 5-star reviews. Browse 10, 20, or 30 of them and see what people are saying.
For that I thank you and reccomend them….
We got a windows quote for 3 window and it seemed reasonable. However, the windows are not that old, so we decided to repair them instead. Even though we decided not to use them, Danielle referred us to a great company that does repairs and that company turned out to be the best option for us. I just wanted to put it out there that this company not only offers good services, they are vested in helping you find what is best for your situation. For that I thank you and reccomend them.
I had a 10 star experience….you can too!
Awesome ?! From the beginning: Last year I got several estimates for replacement windows for our rental property. Peakview's estimate was comprehensive and definitely the best for the money. Since the initial estimates were handled by the management company, I hadn't met the sales person until I made my final decision. After I decided on Peakview, I went to the office to meet the sales guy and actually look at the windows, and make final selections. I met Mike- who was awesome. Great guy- absolutely no high pressure for anything. He demonstrated the window's ability to cut the heat from the sun as well as some other energy saving features. I made my decisions and the windows were installed. They are beautiful. The house was built in 1952 so the old windows were wood. Now they are beautiful and energy efficient. Tom was the installer and he did a great job. Cut to present- I had to get windows for the house I live in. I was almost positive I wanted to go with Peakview, but I checked other places on the internet "just to see" if there was another company out there that I should get an estimate from. I read reviews and knew I was wasting time- I just needed to call Peakview again. I was thrilled that Mike was there! Once again we went through the process of deciding what I wanted and he gave me an estimate. Price was perfect. I gave half down so they could order the windows. When the windows came in, they called me to let me know the installer, Tom, (I was thrilled it was Tom again!) would call me to make arrangements to look at the windows he would be replacing. Tom called me and didn't actually need to come in the house- he was able to figure things out from the outside while I was at work. That was perfect for me. A few weeks later, Peakview called to schedule. Today I had my windows installed. Tom showed up at the agreed upon time, and was awesome from the start. Mike (sales) told him we don't do shoes in the house, so Tom took his off before he did a walk around to look at the house/windows from the inside. He said he would lay down plastic covering on all the carpet (which he did- stairs and then the upstairs hall and walkways) and lay down runners and drop cloths on the wood floors. His two helpers, Travis and Kahn (or Kahm) showed up about 30 mins later and they got busy. They were a well oiled machine. Tom let me know we had some rotted boards and said if I got the new boards he would remove the rotted ones and put the new ones up for us. Really?!?!? Awesome!!! He gave me what we needed and my husband ran out to get them. Tom replaced the rotted with the new. How awesome is that?!? Tom and his crew were THE BEST! As they worked, they cleaned- all the junk that was the result of the old windows being cut out was vacuumed up. All the debris outside was picked up. Everything about this process was painless (and believe it or not, I dragged my feet because I was worried about the mess from having the windows replaced). The entire process from start to finish was professional and they kept me informed. I love my new windows! I didn't mention, the first time I walked into the show room, I also met the owner- Shaun O'Laughlin. I felt very comfortable that I could call them if there was an issue and that alone, is a great feeling. So, there are lots of choices, which is great for consumers- but I encourage you to consider calling Peakview and give them an opportunity to show you what they can do for you. Their window installers are so awesome, that alone, should be a reason to call them. I had a 10 star experience....you can too! FYI - I have 11 openings
They were a great team that worked like clockwork, and made hardly any mess
Oh wow! They took out old metal windows and had 2 new ones installed in 90 minutes!! They were a great team that worked like clockwork, and made hardly any mess. The crew worked both outside on my roof and inside and cleaned up beautifully. Now I have an even better view of Pikes Peak!
Colorado Springs Stucco & Stone Veneer Installation FAQs
What Exactly Is Acrylic Stucco vs. Traditional Stucco?
Acrylic stucco is a synthetic material made with flexible, durable polymers. Depending on the manufacturer, mixtures can also include various aggregates for texture, pigments, and other additives to improve things like mold/mildew resistance.
Traditional stucco is more natural and made of much older, classic materials—Portland cement, sand, lime, and water. Both have pros and cons, but our experience shows that acrylic stucco is a better option for homeowners in our area.
Am I In Your Service Area?
The question is, do you live within an hour’s drive (50 miles) of Colorado Springs? We’re happy to work with anyone inside that range. Wondering whether you’re too far away? Unsure if we can help or not? Give us a call or stop by our showroom. You can also visit our Service Areas page for more information.
How Long Does Stucco/Veneer Installation Take?
Our teams’ average residential stucco installation takes two to three weeks. This includes surface preparation, application of the base and finish coats, and proper drying time. Stone veneer installation can be quick or take much longer, depending on the size and extent of the surface we’re covering. Our estimate will be crystal clear and leave no room for doubt.
How Much Does Stucco Installation Cost?
The cost of stucco installation varies based on the size of your home, the complexity of the job, and the type of stucco finish you choose. We offer free estimates to provide you with an accurate quote based on your specific needs.
What Maintenance Does Stucco Require?
Stucco is low-maintenance but not maintenance-free. Regular inspections, occasional cleaning, and prompt repairs of small cracks will keep your stucco looking great and performing well for years. The same could be said of high-quality Sunset Stone veneers.
Can I Install Stucco Over Existing Siding?
If the surface is prepared correctly, stucco can often be applied over existing siding, such as wood or brick. Our team will evaluate your home to determine the best approach.
Can I Finance My Stucco Or Stone Veneer Siding?
We have long-standing relationships with lending partners that go back to the days of our founding in 1994. If you’re interested, please visit our Financing page for more information. You can always pick up the phone and call or stop by our exterior remodeling showroom. Our project consultant is also happy to give you all the details you need on the plans and process.
Is Stucco Energy Efficient?
Yes, stucco provides excellent insulation, helping to maintain indoor temperatures and reduce energy consumption. It’s an energy-efficient choice for homes in both hot and cold climates.
What Else Can You Upgrade On My Home?
Along with stucco and stone veneer siding installations/repairs, we do window replacement, entry door replacement, and other exterior services like Gutters, Soffit, and Fascia.
