How A Colorado Springs Exterior Remodeler
Turned Tragedy Into A Legacy Of Service
The Story Of Peakview Windows, Siding & Stucco:
Built On Family, Service, And Craftsmanship
Peakview Windows, Siding & Stucco is a family- and veteran-owned exterior remodeling company proudly serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding Front Range.
But the Peakview story starts long before our first window or siding job.
Founder Shaun O’Laughlin grew up in Virginia, Minnesota, working alongside his father at Virginia Plumbing & Heating. There, he picked up what really matters in this business: do the job right, use materials that last, and treat customers like neighbors.
Shaun’s life took a hard turn when his older brother, Daniel, tragically lost his life during the Vietnam War.
That loss stuck with Shaun. It shaped his path.
In 1973, Shaun enlisted in the U.S. Army. He spent the next 21 years serving, first in the Infantry and then with the Army Corps of Engineers. The latter is where he developed the leadership skills and hands-on expertise he would later bring to his business.
When he retired from Fort Carson in 1994, Shaun wasn’t looking to slow down…
He was ready to build something of his own!
